Women Cell

The Women Cell of Silapathar College has been created for the purpose empowering women through different programmes and awareness activities for their all round development. The main objectives of this cell is to promote gender equality issues through organizing various sensitivity programmes like workshops, seminars/webinars, teaching, research and community outreach activities etc. among the Silapathar College Community, to resolve issues concerning discrimination of women or sexual harassment by providing practical suggestions from time to time and to make students, teaching and non-teaching staff aware of their legal and constitutional rights, instill values and develop personality and leadership quality etc.
The cell has been constituted with the following members:
