The mantra of zoology lab is to give easy access and provide a creative environment where students can harness or understand the true nature of the scientific inquiry. The lab is equipped with most of the equipment which is necessary for providing quality and effective practical classes to the students. We have sophisticated instruments like UV-Visible spectroscopy, tissue homogenizer, microcentrifuge, gel electrophoresis for demonstrating molecular and biochemical works. In order to explore and expose the students to the microscopic world, our lab is equipped with a stereomicroscope as well as multiple compound microscopes. Moreover, instruments like microtome, kymograph, electronic balance, hot plate, heating mental, water bath, oven, incubator, weight machine, etc. are installed in the lab. For conducting field works we do have binoculars for bird surveys and portable water and soil analysis instrument which can also provide community service.
