The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Silapathar College was established on 24 May 2005 to promote quality enhancement and sustenance in the institution's academic and administrative activities. Since its inception, the IQAC has been functioning as a nodal agency for planning, monitoring, and implementing quality initiatives in accordance with NAAC guidelines.
The Cell plays a significant role in promoting academic excellence through innovative teaching-learning practices, research, extension activities, faculty development programmes, and the integration of ICT. It also facilitates feedback mechanisms, stakeholder participation, and the effective use of institutional resources. By coordinating with various departments and committees, the IQAC ensures continuous improvement, accountability, transparency, and inclusiveness in institutional functioning.
Through its sustained efforts, the IQAC has contributed significantly to fostering a culture of quality consciousness and excellence, supporting the institution in achieving its vision, mission, and long-term development goals.
