The college is committed to creating and maintaining a community in which students, teachers and non-teaching staff can work together in an environment free of gender violence, sexual harassment and discrimination of the basis of gender. Constitution of India has widely condemned sexual harassment as a form of human rights violation. The committee has been constituted with representation from all the sections of the college community as per the guidelines of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India issued in 1997 and Sexual Harassment of Women at Work place (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) act 2013.
