Admission Procedure

Admission Procedure of Silapathar College has been upgraded to Online System from this 2017-18 session. Students have to visit the official college website www.silapatharcollege .edu.in wherein online admission and guidelines is displayed on the right hand corner of the home page. Students need to click and follow the steps accordingly.

However, hard copy of documents as required should be submitted to the office at the time of admission. At the time of admission, reservation policy will be followed as per Govt. rules. As per the direction of the Govt. there is provision for free admission (except Students’ Union Fee) on submission of following documents:

1. BPL certificate
2. Evidence (photograph) of plantation of tree. (Declaration form is attached as Annexure I)

NB:

1. Students having less than 40% marks in aggregate need not apply for admission. However, relaxation of 5% is provided for SC/ST students.
2. Students must have H.S. (10+2) pass and obtained atleast 45% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in concern (Major) subject.
3. The college authority shall have the right to reject admission to any one without assigning any reason there of DECLARATION

A DECLARATION form will have to signed by the student as well as the Guardian at the time of admission for maintenance of strict discipline in the college campus. Any student found to have detrimental conduct to academic environment of the college shall attract fine/funishment including expulsion from the college depending upon the gravity of the situation by college authority.

RESERVATION OF SEATS

Reservation of seats is provided as per Govt. rules for:

1. 2% for Sports Persons of sports recognized by IOA/SAI anda slo have represented District/State etc.
2. 1% for wards of employees of the Colleges
3. 1% for NCC/Scouts/Guides.
4. 1% for the Students with achievements in cultural activities.
